A big thanks to all who attended the Parkinson’s Awareness Night at UC Health Stadium on August 3. The weather was perfect as Buckeye Dave Shields threw out the first pitch prior to the Freedom versus the Washington, PA Wild Things.

This was a fun evening for friends of Parkinson Support & Wellness and the fans of Rock on the James to celebrate our outreach in the Northern Kentucky area. Congratulations to Karen Schroeder who won Split the Pot. And, as always, thank you to the volunteers that helped make this evening possible.

By the way, we saw a great game that went into extra innings and was won by the Freedom with a walk-off inside the park home run. An exciting end to a great event. Watch for us to reprise Parkinson Awareness night with the Freedom again next summer!
