We are always looking for extra help leading up to and on race day. If you are unable to participate as a runner or walker but are interested in volunteering on race day, just visit the link below to indicate your interest in any of the below opportunities.

Course Volunteers (20)

Our course volunteers help runners and walkers stay on track using voice and hand signals. They also assist wheelchairs up on course elevation changes, and help keep spirits soaring as the race progresses. Course volunteers need to be loud with an outgoing personality – cheering as the runners and walkers pass!
This role requires standing for several hours at a time.

Water Station Volunteers (12)

Work at one of our three water stations. Fill water cups, hand water to runners, pick up trash after runners and walkers pass. This is a great opportunity for your club or business to gain visibility and work together.
This role requires standing for approximately 2 hours.

Finish Line Crew (10)

Work at one of our three water stations. Fill water cups, hand water to runners, pick up trash after runners and walkers pass. This is a great opportunity for your club or business to gain visibility and work together.

Lil' striders volunteers (5)

This role requires standing for several hours at a time.

Day-of Packet Pick-Up Volunteers (6)

Hand out the previously prepared packet that belongs to each participant. Those working packet pick-up on race day will hand out the packets based on T-shirt size and mark names on a sheet to indicate that packet has been picked up. 3 volunteers will be runners for those working the window.
There are opportunities both for individuals who can easily move around and those who would be more comfortable seated.

Advance Packet Pick-Up Volunteers (4)

Stuff packets with race bag goodies and information on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at our Race Partner (TBA) store. Hand out packets based on T-shirt size and mark names on sheet to indicate packet has been picked up.
This is a seated role.

This role requires standing for several hours at a time.

Food station Attendants (8)

Set up and restock refreshments before and after the race.
