Being part of the Steady Strides 5k race for Parkinson Disease as a Participant or Donor means you will be supporting programs that help People with PD and their families live well with this difficult disease.
Parkinson Support & Wellness exists to help those with PD learn about the disease, which empowers individuals to take control and make connections with local resources like support and exercise groups.
In addition to helping link people to programs that will aid them, the organization also produces educational programming, provides grants to exercise programs specially-tailored to the needs of Persons with Parkinson Disease, and sponsors support groups and other events designed to bring people together in a mutually supportive and encouraging environment.
Donations to Steady Strides go directly to programs like these that make a positive impact on the lives of people with Parkinson Disease, their caregivers, families and loved ones. All money raised in the Tri-State stays here to fund PSW programming.
