Steady Strides 2026: A Memorable Year 

Celebrating a Record-Setting Event 

Thank you to everyone who made Steady Strides 2026 memorable and highly successful. More than 800 people participated, including nearly 700 runners and walkers who completed the course at the beautiful Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. 

Event highlights included: 

  • 30 teams 

  • 107 volunteers 

  • 10 sponsors, including three companies at our new Community Sustaining Partner level 

  • 8 exhibitors 

  • 22 in-kind sponsors 

  • A record more than $150,000 raised-surpassing our $120,000 goal 

How Your Support Makes a Difference 

Funds raised advance our mission to provide resources for people with Parkinson's and those who care for them, helping each person live well with Parkinson's at their own pace. 

Across 31 counties in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton metroplex, Parkinson Support & Wellness provides education, exercise, and emotional support. Our programs include: 

  • The Harvey Chyette Spring Forum 

  • Monthlywebinars 

  • 22 in-person and online support groups 

  • More than 100 physical therapy and Parkinson's-specific exercise offerings listed on our website 

In 2025, we also awarded $140,000 in financialgrants to companies and organizations that provide services specifically for our Parkinson's community.

More Than the Numbers 

The results are impressive, but Steady Strides has always been about more than numbers. It gives our local Parkinson's community an opportunity to come together and celebrate the heroes who face Parkinson's disease every day-patients, families, and friends. 

It is a joyful day for reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and simply having fun together. 

Looking Ahead to Steady Strides 2027 

Planning is already underway for Steady Strides 2027-our20th annual race-and we intend to make it another unforgettable day.
