Speech Therapy & Swallowing Issues Event

Parkinson Support and Wellness’s next PD EDU, Speech Therapy & Swallowing Issues, will be hosted Saturday, October 16 11am–12noon.

Ashley Collins received her master's degrees from the University of Florida in Speech Language Pathology in 2011. Prior to moving to Ohio, she was certified as a brain injury specialist. Ashley has been practicing in the greater Cincinnati area since 2014. She is certified in Vitalstim therapy, the Mcneill Dysphagia Therapy Protocol (MDTP), LSVT “Loud” treatment, and Speak Out! For Parkinson’s disorder. She has been with the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute since 2019 in their neurorehab department. In addition to being the primary SLP working with the multidisciplinary Parkinson’s Disorder clinic, she also works closely with the memory disorders clinic and specializes with neurogenic cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
