Not walking or running at Steady Strides? Why not volunteer with us on October 1? The truth about Steady Strides is we could not do this 5k fundraiser without our amazing volunteers. Our volunteers help us continue to drive our mission: we exist to help those with PD.
There are many ways to volunteer for Steady Strides! You can even volunteer before the big day. We always need help at our packet pickups. This year packet pick ups will be held Thursday, September 29 from 2-7 pm at Queen City Running in White Oak, with shift options from 1:30-4pm or 4-7:30pm, and Friday, September 30 from 11am-3pm at Queen City Running in West Chester, with shift options from 10:30am-1pm or 1-3:30pm.
Or come help us set up for the 5k! As many of you know our 5k is located at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason. We will be setting up Wednesday, September 28 from 12-6pm (12-3pm shift and 3-6pm shift). Also on Friday, September 30 from 3-6pm.
The day of the 5k has the most volunteer opportunities. Are you a morning bird? Come help us set up for our 5k the morning of. Need to sleep in on Saturdays? Then come help us clean up after the race. We also will need volunteers to help us with day-of registrations, cheerleading, and running the water station. After the race, we encourage you to stay and celebrate with us at the post-race party!
